Social Skills 4 Kids is an evidence based therapy group for children who struggle with what to do in every day social situations. We will use Video Based Learning Technology (i.e., video self-modeling and video modeling) to create rapid skill building.
Sebastian Oros, MSW, School Social Worker, will be leading the program and is an expert in the area of video based learning for children.
What: Group Therapy for Social Skills
Who: All Children K-5 who would benefit from enhancing their social awareness and skills
When: Weekdays beginning in June 2010
Where: Associates in Family Care, Naperville office

Why: Kids connecting with other kids and adults is critical for their development
How: Cutting-edge Video Based Learning techniques that studies have shown will produce rapid skill building
Each student will receive the following from The Social Skills Group:
- Social Skills Baseline Assessment
- 7 weekly 1-hour group sessions composed of 4 students each
- Personalized DVD with 7 target skills recorded for future modeling training
- Suggestions for future application in home and social settings
- Personalized Graph of class activity
