Kerri Oros L.C.S.W.

Kerri is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.  Her experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples.  Her areas of clinical focus include developmental concerns, eating disorders, behavior disorders, autism disorders, divorce issues, anxiety, depression, parenting and women’s issues.

Kerri is currently teaching Social Work courses at the college level. She was previously employed for 4 years as a school social worker, where she met the emotional needs of both students in regular education and in special education.  She has taught classes on social skills, ADHD, and anti-bullying/empathy.  Kerri has also worked as a case manager for agencies in the Aurora area. She completed training as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Kane County in 2007 and volunteers with several churches in the Aurora area.

Kerri has enjoyed working with people of different genders and ages.  Kerri’s passion is to guide others in their lives when they find themselves in need of support.  She draws on her education and experiences to be effective and compassionate in this work.  Kerri values and respects her clients as she helps them discover their strengths.

Kerri lives in the west suburbs with her husband and son.

Scott M. Cyphers, M.A., L.C.P.C.


Scott is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who has been practicing in the state of Illinois for seven years. His clinical experience has entailed both outpatient community mental health and inpatient psychiatric settings since 1998. As well as providing individual, couples and family therapy, Scott has developed a method in working with the unique challenges today's adolescents face. He believes that repeat patterns of behavior are largely established due to past hurts and lies that teens have come to believe about themselves.
 
Scott is authentic and approachable in his counseling style, with a technique aimed at unveiling truths about ourselves and others. Scott's counseling addresses aspects of personality that can interfere with relationships and intimacy with significant others.
 
He also has a passion for helping men develop their crucial role within the family context.
With a background in theological studies, Scott welcomes people looking to explore religious and spiritual dimensions of personhood.
 
Scott enjoys playing the acoustic guitar and is a creative singer/ songwriter.
He lives in the northwest suburbs with his wife, Marlo and daughters, Emma and Grace.

Elizabeth Cervantes M.S.W.
 
Elizabeth is a seasoned, bilingual/bicultural Social Worker in Spanish.Her 30 years of experience include clinical work with individuals, families and couples, as well as children and adolescents, in a variety of settings.
 
As a School Social Worker of 20 years, Elizabeth uses a holistic approach to enhance student and family success.  Her diverse work with clients of various cultures, ages and socio economic status has developed an area of expertise in which Elizabeth facilitates the use of community resources in order to meet client needs.  Her extensive knowledge in the areas of special education, teen pregnancy, parenting groups, crisis work, and grief and loss issues have provided specialized support to those families with whom she has worked.
 
A professional goal for Elizabeth as a Social Worker is to maximize a client’s individual growth by working as a team in order to promote a healthy and happy lifestyle in order to reach their fullest potential.

Elizabeth
resides in the Western suburbs with her spouse and three children, for fun she enjoys spending time with her family, scrapbooking and traveling.
